I don’t even know where to begin. Maybe like this:
Sometimes life takes a detour to lead you to where you truly belong.
We’ve arrived – in a kind of in-between place. Not really home. But no longer on the run either. A patch of land, borrowed for a while. And with us: a small herd of wild souls – horses, dog, cat. And many dreams.
This is where we live. For now.
With heart, with hope – and with a landlord we’ve come to call The Grinch.
No joke. Our landlord has his very own way of making life difficult. He controls, bullies, threatens, manipulates – and not just us. The whole village seems to hold its breath when he appears.
For us, it means constant stress. No peace. No safe space.
We want to leave.
Not out of spite, but out of love.
Because our animals – and we – deserve better.
Because we want to arrive, finally. Not in fear, but in peace.
There’s already a place waiting for us: 1.4 hectares of pasture, sky, and freedom.
We know exactly what it will look like: a true home for souls.
